The berries on our land have not been very sweet this year. We had tons of rain and have had very little sun or hot weather this summer, and all this equates to small sour berries.
Not even the dog liked them. This is Savannah turning her head away in disgust. I thought I would see if the birds liked them any better.
Timothy gave the berries a try, but.......
Just like Savannah, turned his head away in disgust. Well, so much for trying to nourish my babies with vitamin packed berries.
I tried a few today at our place and some of them are starting to get sweet...maybe there's hope yet.
